Beef Tacos with Homemade Guacamole

Ingredients :

1 pound ground beef

1 packet taco seasoning

8 small taco shells

1 cup shredded lettuce

1 cup diced tomatoes

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup diced onions

Sour cream (optional)

Salsa (optional)

Ingredients for Homemade Guacamole:

2 ripe avocados

1/4 cup diced onions

1/4 cup diced tomatoes

1 small jalapeno, minced (adjust to taste)

2 tablespoons chopped cilantro

Juice of 1 lime

Salt and pepper to taste

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat, then add the taco seasoning and water as per the packet instructions. Simmer until the mixture thickens.

While the beef is cooking, prepare the guacamole. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl. Mash the avocado with a fork.

Add diced onions, diced tomatoes, minced jalapeno, chopped cilantro, lime juice, salt, and pepper to the mashed avocado. Mix well to combine all the ingredients.

Heat the taco shells according to the package instructions.

To assemble the tacos, spoon the seasoned ground beef into each taco shell. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, and diced onions.

Add a dollop of homemade guacamole on top of the taco fillings.

Optional: Drizzle with sour cream and/or salsa for extra flavor.

Serve the beef tacos with homemade guacamole immediately and enjoy!
