Ingredients for Honey Mustard Glazed Pork Chops:
4 boneless pork chops
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried thyme (or other herbs of your choice)
Salt and pepper, to taste
In a bowl, mix together the Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, minced garlic, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. This will be your honey mustard glaze.
Place the pork chops in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the honey mustard glaze over the pork chops, making sure they are coated evenly. Marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator, or longer for more flavor.
Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat.
Remove the marinated pork chops from the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature for a few minutes.
If using a grill, lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking. If using a stovetop pan, add a bit of oil to the pan.
Place the pork chops on the grill or in the pan and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C), measured with a meat thermometer.
During the last few minutes of cooking, brush the pork chops with more of the honey mustard glaze on both sides, allowing it to caramelize and create a flavorful glaze.
Once the pork chops are cooked through, remove them from the heat and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
Serve the honey mustard glazed pork chops with your favorite side dishes and drizzle any remaining glaze over the top for extra flavor.
