Smoked Salmon Bagel with Cream Cheese

Ingredients:

1 plain or everything bagel

2-3 ounces of smoked salmon

2-3 tablespoons of cream cheese

Thinly sliced red onion

Capers

Fresh dill (optional)

Lemon wedges

Directions:

Slice the bagel in half horizontally.

Toast the bagel halves until they are golden brown and crispy.

Spread a generous layer of cream cheese on each bagel half.

Lay the smoked salmon evenly over the cream cheese on both halves.

Top the salmon with a few slices of red onion and sprinkle some capers on top.

If desired, add some fresh dill for an extra burst of flavor.

Squeeze a bit of lemon juice over the smoked salmon to enhance the taste.

Place the two bagel halves together to form a sandwich.

Serve your smoked salmon bagel immediately as an open-faced sandwich or as a traditional sandwich.
