Turkey Club Sandwich with Fries

Ingredients:

For Turkey Club Sandwich:

Sliced turkey breast

Bacon slices

Lettuce leaves

Tomato slices

Sliced bread (toasted if preferred)

Mayonnaise

Mustard

Salt and pepper

For Fries:

Potatoes

Cooking oil

Salt

Directions:

For Turkey Club Sandwich:

Cook the bacon slices until crispy, then drain them on paper towels.

Toast the sliced bread if desired.

Spread mayonnaise and mustard on one side of each bread slice.

Layer the lettuce, tomato slices, turkey slices, and bacon on one slice of bread.

Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.

Top with another slice of bread, mayo-mustard side down.

Optionally, you can secure the sandwich with toothpicks and cut it diagonally into halves.

For Fries:

Wash and peel the potatoes if desired, then cut them into thin strips.

Soak the potato strips in cold water for about 30 minutes to remove excess starch. Then, drain and pat them dry.

Heat cooking oil in a deep pan or fryer to about 350°F (175°C).

Carefully add the potato strips to the hot oil in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan.

Fry the potatoes until golden brown and crispy, which usually takes about 3-4 minutes per batch.

Use a slotted spoon to remove the fries and place them on paper towels to absorb excess oil.

Sprinkle the hot fries with salt to taste.
